Strategic grant making of the Trust focus on – Education, Health, Rural Livelihoods and Communities and Arts , Crafts and Culture. The Trust works through partnerships and sector engagement with its associate organisations to make a lasting impact on quality of life.
The Education portfolio of the Trust focuses on key gap areas in the field of elementary education, such as early literacy, early childhood care and education, development of educational material and children’s literature under it’s initiative ‘Parag’ and building education as a discipline.
A significant focus of the Parag initiative includes capacity building of key stake holders pertaining to children’s Literature and libraries. It is within the scope of this, that the Library Educators Course has been imagined and seeded.
